Even after the school bell rings, children still need an engaging, comfortable, and stimulating place to spend their time. That's where YWCA New Britain comes in.
YWCA’s program is designed to deliver an enriching learning experience to meet the needs of school-age boys and girls before and after school and during school vacations, half-days, snow-days, many holidays, and summer vacation.
YWCA offers programs for children from kindergarten through 5th grade who are attending New Britain public and parochial schools. Children spend time with friends, get homework assistance, and participate in fun activities such as crafts, sports, and games.

Jeremy Martins works with school-age children in YWCA's Before & After School and the Summer Sizzlers programs. He grew up in a large family, and as one of the oldest, he’s used to being someone younger children look up to, and not just because he’s tall.
